How do I Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for Hamro.Cloud?

2FA or two-factor confirmation is a two-advance check process which offers an additional layer of security while getting to your account. Once enabled, your logins to Hamro.Cloud must be finished if both your password and an authenticator code is given. We support TOTP authenticator applications, for example, those from Google and Microsoft.


Add a New Authenticator

From inside Hamro.Cloud, follow the link to Security Details under Account Preferences section.

Towards the base of this page, you'll see an section titled Two-Factor Authentication. To include your first devices , enter your current login password  and name the devices you wish to include. The Device Name is only for your very own reference.


Adding a Second Authenticator

There's no restriction on the quantity of devices you can include, and we prescribe having no less than two devices for you. This is in case one of your authenticators is lost or inaccessible. When a devices  has been added to your record, future gadgets can be included by entering a code from a current authenticator devices .


Removing an Authenticator

To expel a devices, select delete from the list of your authenticator devices, in agreement.


Lost Device

If you're unable to get to your record after it has been secured by 2FA, it would be ideal if you call +977 01 5706466. We'll work with you to reset your access. Lines are open from 10:00 until 18:00, Sunday - Friday.


2FA for HamroCp Users

Clients of the HamroCp control panel can enable 2FA themselves. 2FA setup is in the HamroCp Security Details menu (upper left). Resellers can deal with clients' devices and confirm 2FA codes in the HamroCp Users areaof Hamro.Cloud.
